Food Review: Guschlbauer Bakery

(located in Kallang Leisure Park)

The bakery has an open space in front of the shop in Kallang Leisure Park. The total space can accomodate probably about 30 pax or so and is air-conditioned. I wouldn't call it as a cosy corner but it's definitely good enough as a eatery. The shop will help you to heat up the breads that you have purchased if you are eating in. No extra charges.

Meat Lover Pizza
Price: $7.50

To be honest, the pizza looks real good. A little tough on the base dough but flavour is alright. Its not packaged type of pizza but self made in bakery in house. The pizza meats are well flavoured but it couls be better if the dough is a little more puffy and crispy.

Pan Au Chocolate Croissant
Price: $3.80

Fluffy with a little chocolate inside. Not bad consider it's puffy but flavour is not mind blowing. Chocolate is not too sweet which is good. Best eaten when it's heated up.

Egg Tart
Price: $2.80

Very hard to chew base. Not your typical egg tart like local ones. Egg custard taste ok, not sweet. Eggy but not most tender and smooth. Crust is not really good. Very doughy and tough even when heated up.

Signature Macadamia Iced Coffee
Price: $7.50

Good macadamia taste. Not milky enough, not too sweet. A little watery and coffee can stand out a little more. The price is a little hefty considering the price.

Iced Chocolate
Price: $6.40

Mediocre in taste. Was expecting it to be thicker and creamier. However it's not the case and it was a little too mild.
